Rhythms
Learning the unforced pace of life with God
Most of us didn't plan to end up this tired. The pace just crept in, one full week at a time, until hurry started to feel normal. This fall we're clearing some space to walk with God at a human speed again.
Why we're doing this
Jesus said, 'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest' (Matthew 11:28, NIV). That invitation is still open. Rhythms is our whole church saying yes to it together, over three months, one movement at a time. We're not adding more to your plate. We're learning to carry less of the wrong things.

The Three Movements

August
Sabbath · Solitude · Fasting
Slowing
We start by pulling back. Before we can add anything, we make room. Sabbath teaches us to rest. Solitude teaches us to be with God without an audience. Fasting reminds us we can go without and still be okay.
Be Still — Prayer & Fasting Guide
September
Prayer · Scripture · Community
Rooting
Once there's space, we go deeper. Prayer becomes a conversation instead of an emergency line. Scripture becomes food instead of homework. Community becomes the place we're actually known.

October
Generosity · Service · Witness
Overflowing
What God fills doesn't stay contained. Generosity loosens our grip on what we have. Service puts our faith to work. Witness lets the people around us in on what God has been doing.
Walk it out with a group
Rhythms lands best around a table with people you're doing life with. Community Groups launch in August, right alongside the series. Find a table and come as you are.
